Each trade has specific educational and technical qualification requirements. For most trades, candidates must have completed Matric with Science along with a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in a relevant field. In certain trades, alternatives such as F.Sc (Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical), B.Tech, or B.Sc in specific disciplines are also acceptable. For instance, for the role of Laboratory Technician, candidates must possess a B.Sc in Chemistry or Biochemistry. Similarly, for the Computer Operator role, only female candidates with qualifications in CIT, Secretariat Trade, or science-related fields at the intermediate or bachelor\'s level are eligible.
