The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan, has officially announced a large number of vacancies for the position of Sub-Inspector (BS-14) on a contract basis for two years. These posts are available across various field formations of Pakistan Customs, including the Collectorates of Customs Enforcement in Quetta, Gaddani, and Indus. The recruitment drive aims to strengthen the enforcement capabilities of the Customs Department by hiring qualified and energetic individuals from all over the country. A total of 108 positions are being offered under provincial and regional quotas, including open merit and reserved seats for women and minorities. Requirements
- Applicants must hold a second-class or Grade “C” Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university, preferably in subjects such as Economics, Commerce, Law, Statistics, Accounting, Computer Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Physics, or any Engineering discipline. Candidates retired from the Armed Forces at JCO rank are also eligible to apply under specific clauses of the Customs Act, 1969. The age limit for applicants is 18 to 30 years, which includes a general relaxation of five years. Additional age relaxation is applicable to candidates from underprivileged regions, minority communities, and retired military personnel as per federal policies. Physical fitness is a mandatory requirement; male candidates must have a minimum height of 5\'6\" and chest 32\"-33.5\", while female candidates must be at least 5\'2\" tall. Selected applicants will also undergo physical endurance tests such as running, push-ups, and chin-ups as part of the recruitment process.
