The University of Malakand, situated in Chakdara, Dir (L), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, has officially announced a wide range of job openings under Advertisement No. 02/2025. These positions are being offered under the project “Establishment of Women Sub-Campus at Batkhela, University of Malakand,” on a fixed/project-based contract.   • The university is inviting online applications from qualified and eligible female candidates for multiple positions across various departments. Under faculty positions, the university is hiring Assistant Professors in English (2 posts), Psychology (1 post), and Islamic Studies (1 post), all requiring a PhD from an HEC-recognized institution. Moreover, the Economics Department is offering one position for Lecturer, where the candidate must possess an MPhil/MS degree or equivalent with a strong academic record and higher education credentials. In the administrative category, several vital roles are open, including Assistant Director Works (Civil), Assistant Registrar, Assistant Provost, Assistant Treasurer, Network Administrator, and Resident Warden. These posts require a minimum of 16 years of education with first-division academic records in respective fields.   • How To Apply

    • Candidates must apply online through the university’s job portal (http://cms.uom.edu.pk/user/loginpage). The last date to apply is April 28, 2025. Applicants must upload complete and accurate documents during the online application process, as incomplete submissions will be rejected without notice. Moreover, after online submission, candidates are required to submit original deposit slips and hard copies of their applications, along with attested documents and passport-size photographs, by May 08, 2025, to the Registrar at the University of Malakand. Application processing fees range from PKR 350 to PKR 5000, depending on the position. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications with corresponding fees. Candidates serving in government or autonomous institutions must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments at the time of submission. The university has emphasized transparency and merit-based recruitment while reserving the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel them without assigning any reason. Importantly, the university is encouraging applications from minorities and persons with disabilities, as per government policy, with respective quotas of 5% and 2%. All applicants must be between 18 and 45 years of age. Selected candidates will be entitled to salaries as per the PC-1 of the project. No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews.
