The Police Department of the Government of Sindh has opened up recruitment for the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) BPS-11 under the Shaheed Quota. Requirements
- Candidates who wish to apply for the Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) position under the Shaheed Quota must meet a number of eligibility criteria laid out by the Sindh Police Department. The academic requirement is a graduation degree with at least second division from a recognized university. Applicants must be between 21 to 28 years of age on the date of submission of the online application. Physical fitness is also a key part of the selection criteria. For male candidates, the minimum height must be 5 feet and 5 inches, and the chest measurement must be at least 33 inches with an expansion of 1.5 inches. Female candidates must have a minimum height of 5 feet and must be medically and physically fit. As part of the physical endurance test, male applicants must complete a 1600-meter run within 8 minutes, whereas female candidates are required to complete an 800-meter run within 14 minutes. In addition to these criteria, applicants must submit important documents including their CNIC, domicile, PRC/Form-D, academic certificates, and verifiable evidence of their relation to the Shaheed police employee. This includes the death certificate, service record, obituary, financial compensation order, and an affidavit confirming the legal heir status of the applicant. Any false information or failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification.
How To Apply
- Interested candidates must apply online through the official SIBA Testing Services (STS) portal at https://apply.sts.net.pk. The application process is fully digital and requires candidates to first create an account, fill out the form carefully, and upload all necessary documents in the correct format. After submitting the application, candidates must download the challan form and deposit a non-refundable test fee of Rs. 1500 at any branch of Allied Bank Limited (ABL) or through online banking (1BILL-linked accounts). Once the payment is made, applicants should upload the paid challan to their STS account to complete the registration process. It is essential to review all information before submission to avoid errors. After successful registration, updates regarding test dates, roll number slips, and other important announcements will be shared via SMS, email, and the STS website. Applicants are advised to frequently check the portal to stay informed. The last date to apply is 12th May 2025. No applications will be accepted after this deadline. Moreover, no TA/DA will be provided for test or interview purposes. Candidates must prepare for both the physical and written components of the test, as only those who pass both will be considered for final selection.
